Jason Siemens teaches Senior Years Math and Study Hall

Mr. Siemens loves encouraging people to improve the way they think about problems, whether by understanding more clearly or seeing from a new angle. Teaching gives him an opportunity to see people break through difficult things. Since joining the Westpark teaching staff in 2017, Jason has come to appreciate the small class sizes, which allow him to really get to know and support his students.

Jason and his wife Kim, have two daughters who both attend Westpark. He has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and a Bachelor of Education, both from the University of Manitoba. In summer, Mr. Siemens enjoys running and wake surfing. In winter, he enjoys cross-country skiing and skating, as well as cheering for the Winnipeg Jets. Mr. Siemens founded Westpark’s E-Sports program, and he enjoys playing video games when time allows.
