Mr. Stoesz has been teaching at Westpark since 2007 and he strives to have students discover the order, complexity and ingenuity of God in the world He made. Kevin loves learning about God’s creation through science, and helping students to get that “Aha!” moment when they discover something new.

Kevin’s Deep Hope is that through the exploration of the diversity of God’s world, his students would discover their identity as agents in God’s Kingdom. He encourages young people to recognize that learning science helps them appreciate the world God made, and to see that learning science can be an act of worship. Mr. Stoesz prepares his students well for post-secondary pursuits and volunteers his time as the Senior Years Student Council coordinator.

Kevin and his wife Lydia both work at Westpark School, and their two children are students here. Outside of school, Kevin spends time with his family, volunteers at church and enjoys going for walks, hiking, camping, cross country skiing and canoeing.
