Sarah Coetzee

Mrs. Coetzee’s deep hope is that students learn to collaborate, support one another, and celebrate each other’s successes. While they discover the importance of kindness, perseverance, and curiosity in and outside of the classroom. 

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from the University of Stellenbosch: South Africa. 

Sarah Coetzee: Grade 2

Mrs. Coetzee joined Westpark in September of 2024. She lived in the Middle East with her husband and 3 daughters for 11 years prior to moving to Manitoba. She has been teaching for 26 years. Mrs Coetzee creates an engaging and inclusive classroom that fosters critical thinking, curiosity, and a love for learning. She loves seeing the students' eyes light up with understanding. 

Outside of school she stays busy with a variety of creative hobbies such as sketching, drawing, painting and even baking that bring her immense joy and fulfillment.
